This new year gives us an other chance to live in this excellent world stepping ahead through the coming year, not only..... but also reminds of reduction in the duration of our stay here.
This is excellently stated in Bhagavgeetha as

This means that: "Gain all knowledge and Wealth assuming that you dont have death!
But..
Do a Noble work always assuming that your death is right behind you" !!
Hinduism is a relegion which has always thought of well being of the entire society.It is this great Dharma that has always said " Sarve Bhavanthu Sukhina Ha".These noble thoughts also known as (ADHYAATHMA) makes us to try n be a better person in the society.
In our culture,
Every Individual is sacred . His Every practice has a social concern!!
Every festival gives us a new joy and spirit to live, along with lots of scientific folds in it.
The new year coming ahead is not an exception though!!
It is Sacred.... It has social concerns.... also spills over the spirit of joy to live.....
Yes this is UGADI... this is Gudipadava this is called Vishu and Vaisakhi !!!!
Celebrating these rich thoughts as new year gives us more pleasure n worth, than celebrating january 1 of Gregorian calender as a new year, just because....
it is the starting day of European calender counting.... and just because the people who ruled us for centuries adopted the same gregorian calender in 1752....
Isnt it unfortunate that we sometimes practice the left outs of the foreign rulers with joy...... ????
Isnt it a self less feeling if @ times we replace our rich cultural ethics n celebrations with other's practice????

Yes!! Definitely not just to know the "Scientific energy in our Cultural aspects" , but also a reminder for us to try and leave behind many of foreign practices that has landed India, either through invasions, our through their influences.....
